The records auditors actually open

Maintenance records are the third tab the auditor opens, after driver qualification and hours of service. The bar is not a perfect maintenance program. The bar is a documented maintenance program: PM intervals defined, DVIR records on file, repairs logged with date and odometer, and a system that shows the truck is being inspected and serviced on a schedule.

This category is in active build. The first set of templates ships with the DOT Compliance Binder Kit. Cross-link to the compliance category for the audit-binder context, and to driver paperwork for the cab-side DVIR forms.
